Verdant Goods Co. Ltd. Giveaway Contest Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 This giveaway contest ("Contest") is run by Verdant Goods Co. Ltd. ("Verdant"), and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Faith in Nature, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media platforms used throughout the Contest.

1.2 By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. CONTEST PERIOD

2.1 The Contest starts on 19th February 2024 at 12:00 PM and ends on 25th February 2024 at 11:59 PM (UK Time).

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 The Contest is open to participants aged 18 years and over who are resident in the United Kingdom. Proof of residency may be required.

3.2 Employees of Verdant Goods Co. Ltd., their family members, or anyone else connected with the organization or judging of the Contest are not eligible to enter.

4. HOW TO ENTER

4.1 To enter the Contest, participants must:

• Follow Verdant Goods Co. Ltd.'s account on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter.
• Like the competition post on the platform they are entering from.
• Tag 2 friends in the comments section of the competition post.
• For a bonus entry, participants can subscribe to Verdant's newsletter at verdantgoods.co.

4.2 Entries received after the end date will not be considered.

4.3 Verdant Goods Co. Ltd. reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.

5. PRIZE

5.1 The prize for the Contest is 2 x Faith in Nature Soap Bar Gift Sets. Each set includes:

• 1 x Orange Soap 100g
• 1 x Lavender Soap 100g
• 1 x Aloe Vera Soap 100g

5.2 Prizes will be shipped to UK addresses only.

5.3 The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.

6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

6.1 A total of 2 winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received.

6.2 Each winner will receive one Faith in Nature Soap Bar Gift Set as described in section 5.1.

6.3 Winners will be notified via Direct Message on the platform they entered within 5 days of the closing date. Additionally, the winners will be announced through Verdant Goods Co. Ltd.'s social media channels and other company locations, including the Verdant website.

6.4 If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Verdant Goods Co. Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS

7.1 Verdant Goods Co. Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Verdant's control.

7.2 The Contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7.3 Personal data supplied during the course of this Contest will only be processed as set out in Verdant's privacy policy.

7.4 Entry into the Contest will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

8. ENTRY CLARIFICATION

8.1 Participants are entitled to one standard entry per social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) by following Verdant Goods Co. Ltd.'s account on the respective platform. This constitutes up to three (3) entries per participant.

8.2 An additional, bonus entry is granted for signing up for the Verdant newsletter, potentially totalling four (4) entries per participant.

8.3 Tagging two friends in the comments of the competition post, along with liking the post, is required to complete the entry on social media platforms. Whether friends are tagged in a single comment or separate comments, this action is considered part of fulfilling the entry requirements and does not constitute additional entries.

8.4 The contest entry is primarily determined by the participant's follow on Verdant Goods Co. Ltd.'s social media account, with comments and likes serving as supplementary criteria to complete the entry process.

 

UPDATE TO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Note as of 20/02/2024:

We have updated our Terms & Conditions to provide further clarity on the contest entry process. The following clause has been added to ensure all participants understand how to enter the contest and how entries are counted:

• Introduction of detailed entry guidelines specifying that participants can achieve up to four entries: one per each social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) by following Verdant Goods Co. Ltd.'s account, and an additional bonus entry through newsletter sign-up.
  It also clarifies that tagging friends in comments, alongside liking the post, completes the entry requirement on social platforms but does not count as additional entries.

We encourage all participants to review the updated Terms & Conditions to ensure a thorough understanding of the entry process.
