Hello everyone! What a week it's been at Verdant Goods Co. Here's a little glimpse into our journey over the past seven days – the trials, triumphs, and a few laughs along the way.

Banking with Mettle: Finally, we've set up our banking services with Mettle! It's been a bit of a rollercoaster due to some confusion with another bank about us being a chemical retailer (sorry, chemists, we aren’t), but we're now ready to roll.
There's nothing quite like the thrill of seeing your business bank card come through the letterbox. - Finance Fun with FreeAgent: I've been putting my finance knowledge to the test with FreeAgent. I’m getting the hang of it, but feel like I already had an advantage by being the sort of weirdo who does their shopping lists on a spreadsheet.
- Branding Brilliance: We've chosen our branding designer! After some intense brainstorming and heaps of coffee, we’re now in the exciting consultation stage. Can't wait to see our vision translated into stunning logos and social media magic.
- Adventures in Advertising: The world of advertising is vast and complex, but we're navigating it one step at a time. We focussed on setting up Shopify, Facebook Ads, and Google Merchant Centre this week, ready to implement our marketing strategy.
- Product Parade: Our product range is shaping up nicely, thanks to ongoing chats with producers and suppliers. It's like piecing together a puzzle – making sure each product is a perfect fit for our vision.
- Insurance Milestone: And here’s the cherry on top - we secured our business insurance! It's like putting on a safety belt before a thrilling ride. Knowing that we're covered gives us that extra peace of mind to focus on what we do best – bringing amazing products to you. It’s definitely one of those ‘adulting’ moments in business, but hey, we’re feeling pretty grown-up and responsible now!
Between banking setups and branding decisions, it's been a whirlwind of a week, but, we're riding the waves with a smile.
